A student chapter of Mechanical Engineering students at Embry Riddle raised $2500 from Florida Power and Light and another $200 from Solar Fit to build a solar powered water purification unit.

When we arrived at our base camp we found out the camp’s water purification system was not functioning… so suddenly the solar water purifier we brought became pretty important!
