Campus Crusade for Christ - The Campus Ministry

Details

After 2 in flight movies, 4 mystery meals under foil, and the excitement of showing your passport to a handful of border guards, you are ready to rumble. You are at your new home for the summer, halfway around the world. The day you have been thinking and praying about is finally here – and you are ready. This summer you will participate with God in revealing his love, mercy and passion to those who do not know him. This is joining God in bringing his glory to the nations.

This summer you will have a great time connecting with your team, meeting students, and seeing the sights. But this ain’t your grandma’s euro cruise vacation. In many locations you may spend 3 or more hours a day in language class and 6 hours a day in ministry – starting new relationships, sharing your life, and communicating your story as well as your faith. You will work with your team to make the project a success. You will break new ground and pioneer a new campus.

By the time you board the plane to leave, you will probably want to stay. Other teams will follow up behind you, benefiting from the seeds you planted – and you will be changed because of what you saw God do.

A typical day on your project may look like this:

8 Breakfast & QT
9-12 Language Class (varies greatly by location)
12-1 Lunch
1-4 On campus meeting new people
5-7 Dinner and free time
7-9 Outreach/social/training time/Bible study depending on what day

But wait! I have a lot more questions. No problem.
